A History on E.Bittermann Tonic
Great, great, grandfather Edward Bittermann was a ship store merchant on the River Tyne in Newcastle, England. A hard working entrepreneur, Edward would row down the Tyne out to ships anchored and awaiting port in the North Sea, selling them his goods. His legacy has inspired a deep appreciation for entrepreneurship, adventure, and an excellent drink.
British Columbia is home to an incredible selection of botanicals that offer a distinctively Canadian flavour. Historically, tonic waters are imported from the UK. Using wild BC botanicals with ocean and forest notes, E. Bittermann brings fresh Canadian flavours to your next craft cocktail, aperitif, or coffee.
